BOB WILLS TEXAS PLAYBOYS AND M.L. TESTER'S CLASSIC COUNTRY CONNECTION RETURN TO MORRILTON

Bob Wills Texas Playboys will grace the stage of the Rialto Theatre for the ninth year in 2008.  The small city of Morrilton, Arkansas has

 become closely identified with the the world's most famous Western Swing band, The Bob Wills Texas Playboys.  Each spring, hundreds of Western music fans from all over Arkansas and surrounding states flock to Morrilton to the historic Rialto Community Arts Center to see, hear and visit with the great musicians who are faithfully carrying on the music of their late, great bandleader and western movie star, Bob Wills. 

This year's concert will be held Saturday, April 5, at 7:00 PM.  In addition to the Texas Playboys, the Classic Country Connection band, featuring Wade Benson Landry, M.L.Tester, and other outstanding musicians, will open the concert at 5:30pm.  Concert tickets will go on sale February 15, 2008.  For more information call Bill Stacks at 354-8650 or Lindell Roberts at 208-2619 or email the Rialto at director@rialtoartscenter.com.
