RENOWNED PIANISTS TO PERFORM AT RIALTO

Sunday, October 22 will be a very special day in downtown Morrilton.  Concert pianists Bill and Pat Medley will grace the stage of the Rialto Theatre following a great Sunday “dinner”at noon in the Gallery, prepared by Theresa Paladino Wofford.  The Medleys have appeared as soloists with some of the nation’s leading symphony orchestras, including many concerts for Community Concerts of New York.  They also performed in 48 states, 5 Canadian Provinces, and eight cities in Australia during their extensive professional career.

This will be a homecoming for Pat Medley, the former Patty Grace Duncan of Springfield, and a graduate of Morrilton High School. Tickets for the dinner and concert are $15.00 and may be purchased at the Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce Office, (call 501-354-2393) , or at the door the day of the event.  All friends of the Rialto are invited to come downtown after morning church services, have lunch at the Gallery at noon, then step into the Rialto Theater for a great concert. Rialto spokesman Bill Stacks said the Medleys are doing the concert as a benefit for the Rialto and it is greatly appreciated.  He said the event is an example of the high quality of arts and entertainment the volunteers of the Rialto are bringing  to Morrilton and the Arkansas River Valley.  “People shouldn’t have to drive all the way to Little Rock for great food and entertainment  when they can find it right here in Morrilton”.
