Art Adventure at the Rialto
Watercolor Classes
When: July 10-14, 2006
Times: 8:30 to 10:30 AM or 6:30 to 8:30 PM
Cost: $45.00 (Supplies Furnished)
Who: 12 Years Old to Adults
Work will primarily be taught in how to compose and paint a picture using watercolor. Work will be done from photographs and/or still lives. Bring some of your favorite photographs you would like to paint from or there will be plenty there to chose from. Sketch paper, watercolor paper, paints and brushes will be furnished, or bring your own if you want. Two classes will be taught, one in the morning and one in the evening. CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED SO SIGN UP SOON.
Dorothy Imhauser, a Little Rock Artist who recently moved to Morrilton, will teach this class. She is a member of the Mid-Southern Watercolorists, Conway League of Artists and was a member of Pine Bluff Brush and Palette Guild. She has taught art in Pine Bluff, Little Rock, and Morrilton. She works in Watercolor, Oil, Colored pencils, and Acrylic. Her work is currently on display at Mather Lodge at Petit Jean State Park. It has also been displayed at UCA, Conway Library, The Rialto Arts Center, and other locations. She has won several awards with her oil paintings and recently won first place in watercolor at the Tri County Art Show in Conway.
